Alessia was born and raised in Italy. She also lived in Senegal, Thailand and England, traveling extensively and photographing her adventures along the way before establishing roots in TriBeCa NYC.
During her time in New York, Alessia became a mother of three as well as an accomplished interior designer with a penchant for creating exquisite children's environments. But it was Alessia's passion for shooting her experiences that began with exotic travel and was soon replaced by the magical moments shared with her children at home, that she decided to become a photographer by profession.
After honing her skills at the International Center of Photography and winning a place at the finals of the prestigious BBC International Photography competition, Alessia's career took off. She became most
well known for children's portraiture, often featuring fun props and staging reflecting her interior design sensibility.
Alessia's love of design, coupled with a passion for making the most out of life, touches her every image. Her signature style captures the unique spirit of every child she photographs. Her images speak to the joys of spontaneity and of savouring each moment.
